Childcare Policies and Procedures

All Ofsted registered settings have a legal obligation to adhere to the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundations Stage.

Every nursery is unique and incorporates a full set of robust policies and procedures that are suitable for use in their setting as their fundamental framework.

The development of appropriate policies and procedures underpins how we ensure the welfare of children, staff and parents and fully embraces our commitment to equality of opportunities.

They are central to our high quality provision, define legal obligation, goals and values, meet health and safety requirements and clearly outline expected working practice.

A carefully-formulated set of policies and procedures is constantly evolving.  We review as a minimum annually and on an ongoing basis within our working practice.

The continuous reflective practice of our staff team means that whenever a policy or procedure is in use it is under review and any considered changes implemented as needed.

We believe our policies and procedures show that we are aware of and have considered and addressed our legal responsibilities to ensure consistent high quality professional practice within the provision of care and education the nursery provides.
